1. Separate compartments
I really like the fact that I can put and store up to two different food items in the bowl, to offer to my toddler at home, and when we are out and about. This 2 in 1 feature has reduced the amount of containers I pack when going out of the house with my toddler; fab, isn’t it. 🙂
I mainly use it to store grapes and blueberries; but I’ve also used it for items like my avocado dip. I tend to portion the food into the bowl, and then put it in the fridge until I need it; for a few hours to a day.
2. Tight fitting lid
I like the fact that the MAM feeding bowl makes click sounds as I press the lid around it. This confirms that it has been closed properly; I don’t have to worry about it opening accidentally in the bag that I keep it, when we are out and about.
This also means that I don’t mind my toddler holding the closed bowl (under supervision), because I know he can’t open it on his own.
3. Good-sized handle
The handle is long and wide enough for my toddler and I to easily hold it. I’ve got bowls that are not this generous, which means you have to hold on tightly to the little bit of handle they have; not the best with a toddler.
4. Easy to Wash
I don’t like containers with little corners that are difficult to reach when washing. Well, this bowl isn’t like that; its shape makes every part of if fully accessible for good cleaning.
5. Cute but practical design
The MAM Feeding bowl is not too small or too big, too shallow or too deep; it’s just the right size and it doesn’t take too much space. This is important when you have to take a lot of things with you when leaving the house.
The bowl is also durable, when you see and feel it, you know it’s not another flimsy children’s bowl. The bowl is sturdy and its lid has the right amount of flexibility and rigidity. Indeed, I see myself using this bowl for a very long time to come.
I also like the colour scheme of the bowls; different shades of the same colour – another opportunity to teach my little one about colour shades 🙂
The MAM Feeding Bowl is one of the products in MAM’s Feeding line, and you can buy it for £5.99 on the MAM online shop, (it’s currently on sale for £3.59).
I couldn’t figure out the meaning of all the usage symbols on the back of the packaging and the insider of the lid, but the instructions for use are clearly written in the inside of the packaging.
